An Update

Earlier in the week, a friend of mine asked what new graduates are going to do given the generally poor state of the world. I haven’t done too much with this since I got back home, and people keep asking what I’m doing, so I thought I’d give an answer.

In my case, ultimately, I’m going back to university. I’ve been offered a place to study Forensic Informatics at the University of Strathclyde starting later this year. I had pretty much decided that’s what I wanted to do before I left for Australia, and it still seems like a good plan given the lack of graduate jobs on offer at the moment. Hopefully I’ll come out of it with a bit more specialist knowledge and the job market will have improved a bit.

Until then though, I’m a part-time deliverator. Although, I drive a van… and don’t work for the Mafia.

An Eight Word Review of Battlestar Galactica Season One

Like Voyager, except that it’s brilliant. Go watch it. Now!

Yes – I’m well aware that this post adds nothing of value to the Internet. Unless someone, someday wants to know what I thought of the first season of Battlestar Galactica, in which case I’ve provided them with a potentially life-altering piece of information. Maybe that’s the thinking behind Twitter?

No – I haven’t been getting much sleep lately…
